He spent 17 years at EY Wien, over 10 of which as a shareholder. In 1988, he founded SOT Süd-Ost Treuhand in Oberwart with partners, where he also moved with his family. He was instrumental in building the SOT Group in the federal states. In 2018, after his departure, the company was renamed Roth Die Steuerberater. His son Andreas, after his apprenticeship at KPMG, has been in the firm for over 10 years and runs it as a family business with locations in Oberwart and Eisenstadt. After almost 40 years in the Oberwart office, a lot of heart and soul is invested.
